I thought I would try Reflexology to help with my aches and pains as I am not one for massage. I could not believe how good I felt afterwards and I had a great nights sleep as well. I will certainly be re-booking.

ABOUT MYSELF
My name is Robert Stephen Pembroke; I am 57 and totally blind.
I trained in Anatomy and physiology, massage and reflexology, at The Royal National College For the Blind, Hereford, in 1992/93.
I received ITEC certificates in all subjects.
While at the college we had visits from other complimentary therapy practitioners and health professionals. This gave us grounding in other therapies and I use some of the techniques that we were shown, in my own treatments.
I have found my touch, as a result of my blindness, is enhanced and I am more aware of differences when massaging a client.
On leaving The Royal National College I found work in different centres within the London area, often travelling across the city from my home in Dagenham to Ealing and Perivale.
I also started working at a new therapy centre in Barking and built up a good clientèle.
During this time I trained in Hydro Therm Massage.
I also undertook a course in Indian Head Massage at the local adult college of Barking and Dagenham, which I passed with flying colours.
I then began working at the foot care centre in Basildon Essex. I mainly concentrated on Reflexology, although when I introduced Indian head massage this proved very popular.
I am now working from my home here in Dagenham and I also rent a therapy room in Collier Row Essex on a Wednesday, if you wanted a treatment there you would need to book an appointment with me before hand. I only go there if I have bookings, so do not turn up in the hope of booking a treatment there and then.
I do have other options if Collier Row or my home isn't easy for you to get to.
I can offer home visits for those who cannot get to me, although there is an extra charge for this and of course there is a limit to how far I can travel.
